Tonight was our first points race. We got to the track early ready to race. It started out to be a pretty good night for the Bartman team. We had the fastest qualifying time ,but for some reason unknown to us the decision was made to let another kart qualify again after all the karts had gone. He ended up with the fastest time, but we were happy with the 12.027 Barty had. Bartman took 1st in his heat. Bartman's kart was running at peak performance, but during the Trophy dash he tangled with another kart and finished 3rd.

It was time for the A main. In the first lap bartman made his way to the front of the pack but there was a caution so they did a complete restart. That's were things went wrong. In turn 2 of the restart Bartman slid off the track. It seems there was a problem with a tierod. In spite of a valiant effort from his dedicated pit crew they weren't able to get him back on the track before the checkered flag. Barty was pretty upset that he wasn't able to finish the race.

It is Jessie #29's first year. He is running the Bartman's first kart. In the main event he rolled 3 times. If you remember, Barty rolled the same kart during his second race too. Johnny #21 has moved from intermediate to 125cc. He is doing a great job. He took first in the main. Way to go Johnny. Dominique #99S and Cody Joe #01C did a great job as well. Kristen #16k is sporting a new paint job. She has the prettiest Purple Kart on the track with a helmet to match. It was great seeing everyone and we look forward to May 18th's race. Lets hope we have a little better luck -- See you at the races!

The May 4th race has been rescheduled to May 11th due to rain. Hope to see you all at the races.

April 27th
Tonight was our first night of the Summer series at Southern Oregon Speedway. It was nice to see the familiar faces from last year. The weather was perfect. A lot of the Bartman's fans came out to watch. He qualified 2nd with a lap time of 12.376. He took first in 1st in his heat. The Trophy dash was another story. He had another driver run over his back tire at the finish line causing them to wreck. That's racing. We made an improper gear change that probably cost us the race. The Bartman finished 3rd. We are proud of him. Hope to see all of you next week.
